TRAVEL INFO
We realize that for most of you,
Los Angeles is far from home and travel can be expensive
– probably the single biggest cost of your trip
to the convention. Most of you will probably be flying
to L.A., and although there are several regional airports
you could use, we recommend LAX because it is so close
to the hotel, LMU and the beach. But be sure to look into
fares and flights to/from some of these other airports
(such as Long Beach), because it’s possible they
may be a bit lower than LAX.
Below are some sample restricted
round-trip airfares to/from LAX from selected U.S. cities,
as provided by the Los Angeles Times. We will update these
periodically. IMPORTANT: Air fares can change daily, with
some fares published only on the various airlines’
websites. Some require advance purchase, a Saturday night
stay, or have other restrictions. We urge everyone to
begin researching low-cost flights early, and to book
your flight sooner rather than later.
If anyone is planning to travel
by some means other than flying, please let us know and
we’ll do everything we can to assist you.
